Who Ari Was
Ari, originally named Kronos, was imported to the United States from Ukraine as a kitten. At just one year old, he was diagnosed with megacolon after being presented with severe obstipation. His options at the time were limited but instead of being euthanized, Ari was given a second chance.
​
After intensive medical care, Ari came home with me and quickly became family. Over the years, he bravely lived with megacolon, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), and a heart murmur. Despite repeated medical challenges, Ari remained resilient, gentle, and deeply loved.
​
In 2025, Ari passed away following a cardiac episode. His life, strength, and trust left a lasting impact and inspired a promise that continues today.
A Promise That Became the Ari Corona Fund
During Ari’s life, I promised him that I would do everything in my power to help other cats and dogs facing similar medical challenges especially those whose families love them deeply but may not have the financial means to afford care.

Prescription Vet Diets
For pets managing chronic or medically complex conditions, proper nutrition is not optional it is essential. When approved, the Ari Corona Fund helps offset the cost of veterinary-prescribed diets, ensuring pets can continue receiving the nutrition recommended by their veterinarian without placing added financial strain on their families.

Commercial Diets
In times of financial hardship, access to quality food can become a challenge. When pets are in need, the Ari Corona Fund provides assistance with commercially available diets to ensure no pet goes without proper nourishment.

We focus on maintaining steady access to food that supports overall health, comfort, and daily well-being because every pet deserves to eat well, regardless of circumstance.
Supplement, Additive, Diet Reviews
Nutrition goes beyond food alone. When appropriate and approved, the Ari Corona Fund helps support the use of supplements and nutritional additives designed to promote long-term health, comfort, and quality of life.

General Practice Exam Fee
Routine veterinary exams are often the first and most important step in understanding a pet’s health needs. When approved, the Ari Corona Fund may help offset the cost of general practice veterinary exam fees, allowing pets to be properly evaluated by a licensed veterinarian without financial barriers delaying care or treatment decisions.
Specialty Hospital Exam Fee
Some pets require advanced diagnostics or evaluation by veterinary specialists due to chronic, complex, or medically managed conditions. When approved, the Ari Corona Fund may assist with specialty exam fees, helping families access the expertise their pet needs when cost might otherwise limit options.
End of Life Care
End-of-life decisions are deeply emotional and should be guided by compassion, comfort, and dignity not financial stress. The Ari Corona Fund offers supportive assistance with end-of-life care fees when approved, helping families focus on their pet’s comfort and honoring the bond they share during this tender time.
Medication Assistance
Ongoing or short-term medications are often essential to maintaining a pet’s comfort and quality of life. When approved, the Ari Corona Fund may help with the cost of veterinarian-prescribed medications, supporting consistency in care while easing financial strain on families.

Full Vet Services Paid by Us
As funding and partnerships expand, our goal is to provide full coverage for select veterinary services when approved. This would allow eligible pets to receive necessary medical care without cost to their families, removing financial barriers during critical moments.
Follow Up Visit Fees
Ongoing care often requires multiple follow-up visits, which can quickly add up. We are working toward offering assistance with follow-up veterinary visits to help families maintain continuity of care and support long-term health outcomes for their pets.
Hospitalization Fees
Extended hospitalization can be lifesaving but financially overwhelming. Our future goal is to help cover hospitalization fees when approved, ensuring pets can receive the monitoring and treatment they need without placing an unbearable burden on their families.
