Routine follow-up with a veterinarian is recommended for any animal following a nutrition consultation to ensure that the recommended diet provides an adequate amount of calories to help that animal maintain an optimal body weight, the ingredients are being well tolerated, and nutrients are being absorbed (as assessed through blood work and urinalysis results).
